Company HistoryB & L Packaging, Inc. had it's beginning in February, 1982, when many Ohio businesses were in the midst of a severe economic recession. At the time it was commonplace to witness plant closings rather than new business start ups. Many years prior, however, a close relationship developed with the founders, R.E. Lindeman, R.E. (Bud) Lindeman, Jr. and P.L. Barnum. This began in the 1940's at Hankins Container Co., Miamisburg, Ohio, where all three were employed at one time. The B & L Packaging operation started with 18,000 square feet of leased space in Moraine, Ohio and our first shipment of boxes occurred in May of 1982. With sheer hard work, perseverance and many loyal customers our business grew to the point that we needed a larger facility. In 1987 we moved to our present location, a 65,000 square foot building that adequately serves our needs. Our sales growth over the years has been more than satisfactory with 2008 sales projected at $5,000,000.00. Our present payroll consists of a total of 32 hourly and salaried personnel with 5 to 10 temporaries on a regular basis. B & L has built its business on a "day in - day out" basis knowing that our customers demand products, consistent quality and exceptional service tailored specifically to their needs. We have always communicated and marketed our many capabilities to our customers and prospects. It goes without saying that all successful companies must work together as a team to serve customer needs at all levels. We feel that B & L has that unique team with a staff of many dedicated, energetic, loyal people. Because of this, we have every hope of continued growth and success in the future.
